Save to Thinker sends content you explicitly choose, including a video, AI conversation, web page, or selected passage — to your private Notebook or Thinker on thinker.aristai.io.

What it reads

On ChatGPT and Claude, it reads the current conversation to prepare the capture preview only when you open the panel, and sends it only when you click Save. On any other ordinary web page, Chrome grants temporary access to that one tab only after you click the extension's toolbar icon; the extension can then read the page title, public URL, and readable text or the passage you selected. It cannot read your browsing history and does not scan unrelated pages in the background. If you enable automatic collection, it reads newly created browser bookmarks and, with separate permission, confirmed favorites on Bilibili video pages. Existing bookmarks and favorites are not imported.

Where it sends it

The extension sends content to thinker.aristai.io, using your existing login. When the destination is a Thinker, for AI conversations, Thinker keeps a distilled summary, proposes profile updates for you to approve, and does not store the raw conversation. For web pages and selected passages, Thinker stores the captured text as a Knowledge source so you can read, search, and use it in Notebook. When the destination is a private Notebook, the captured text (including raw conversations) is retained as a source. Public video links can be used to retrieve captions or audio for transcription. Thinker sends saved content to its AI providers for transcription and organization. You can review the results and remove saved sources in the Notebook.

What it stores in your browser

Your chosen Notebook or Thinker destination, automatic collection preferences, and pending video or automatic saves (account ID, destination, title, URL and processing status). Pending saves are kept locally across browser restarts and retried only for their original account. Successful video jobs leave the pending queue; recent automatic-save identifiers are retained to prevent duplicates. You can see pending status and retry in extension settings.

What it never does

It does not sell data, show ads, track you, or request access to every website. Saves begin only when you click Save or use an automatic collection action you have enabled. Remove the extension at any time from your browser's extensions page.
